I’m acquainted with a traditional wind instrument, the danso, because I learned this in the elementary school curriculum. Since elementary school is officially mandatory, a great number of Koreans have experienced playing the danso.

Since it's not complicated to use, you can easily learn this instrument in a small number of classes. The aspect special to me regarding the danso is that it has a different scale from Western wind instruments like a recorder.

I tend to listen to music by a traditional Korean music band, Inalchi. What makes them special is that they blend traditional sounds with trendy music which sounds like hip-hop or K-pop.
